icubed consulting were engaged by Link International to provide concept work and the full documentation of architectural, civil and structural engineering.
The 7,000m2 warehouse has one quarter of the warehouse designated as a dangerous goods store for C2 class dangerous goods. The warehouse is protected with ESFR sprinkler systems and an alternative ‘deemed to satisfy’ building solution for egress and service coverage. The building entry provides a 2-storey atrium to maintain an attractive entry and lead into the open plan office for this international company.
The building provides separation of truck and car movements with a good balance of docks to storage areas and with associated dispatch and packing areas.
The site has been maximised from boundary to boundary including bioretention and detention basins along with fire brigade access and loading dock access. The office includes personal office gardens along with associated training rooms and amenities for warehouse and office staff.
