This week we have been featuring icubed consulting projects featured in the Engineers Australia, 2014 Infrastructure Australia Annual.  Today we look at our role on the Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport – Concrete Plants, Crushing Plants and Entry Bridges

icubed consulting provided a number of specialised preconstruction services on this project, which included.

  • Design of Structures and foundations for the Earth Friendly Concrete Batching Plants, Cementitious Product Silos, Wash Water and Aggregate Recovery System.
  • Design of Structures and foundations for the Temporary Quarry Crushing and Screening Plant, which is being used to produce high specification gravels and concrete aggregates for the Airport and Associated Industrial Development.
  • Design and Certification of the Twin, 12.0m Span Glass Fibre Reinforced Composite Road Bridges complying with the SM1600 and HLP320 Design Vehicles.
