icubed consulting were engaged by Amgrow to provide design and project management services for upgrades to stormwater quality devices at their existing facility at Stapylton. Construction of these devices are a part of Amgrow’s ongoing commitment to improving environmental management at the site.
The project requirements saw the civil engineering department design two bioretention basins for the treatment of stormwater flowing from hardstands, and a Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) device with a hydrocarbon capture component for the treatment of stormwater from the undercover car parking areas.
Following completion of the design work, icubed prepared a tender specification package, managed sub-contractors, provided technical support, and supervised the construction of the stormwater quality devices.
The constructed bioretention basins provide an efficient stormwater treatment system that compliments the existing dam operations and blends in visually to the overall site appearance.
