icubed adds Mechanical Engineering to their Capability
icubed recently welcomed Phil Harley to the team as our resident Mechanical Engineer. Phil has an extensive background in the oil and petrochemical industries. He has worked with a wide variety of equipment, including storage and transfer facilities, process and blending machinery, and even bottling and robotic packaging equipment. He has designed these systems for many different products such as flammables, corrosives, semi-solids and even powders.
Phil also brings a thorough knowledge of maintenance programs and reliability engineering. He has conducted FMECA and RCA studies, critical spares assessments, and has written scheduled maintenance programs and implemented condition monitoring.
Coming from this industry has also given Phil a strong understanding of safety and risk management practices, having worked closely with plant operators, and been the subject matter expert in countless HAZOPs and risk assessments. He is also experienced in standards compliance auditing, designing for safety, operability, and maintainability.
In his spare time, Phil and his partner renovate houses and operate a small cattle farm west of Brisbane.
