icubed consulting worked with Caesarstone to provide a large modern office, warehouse, and showroom where customers can view, consult, and select their perfect stone counter tops. The diverse team required on this project included Chris Cooper, Travis Smith, Katherine Leggett, Rohan McElroy, Natasha Gouriev, Joshua Waye and Tony Batten.
Caesarstone’s vision for the project called for a combined office showroom and warehouse that totalled to a large isolated building with a total floor area of 3855m² and an apex point of 11.5m. Two 5 tonne gantry cranes were required for maximum floor space usage and post tensioned slabs were used to minimize slab joints for a highly trafficable floor and large racking loads. Large external slabs were provided for complete AV truck turning and access to 6 loading bays. Due to the large impervious areas in the site layout, the site required an intricate storm water quality and quantity design, prior to discharging into Council storm water.
The new building combines contemporary design with Caesarstone’s personal flare. Overlooking Stanmore Road, the colourful facade provides a ‘can’t miss it’ map direction for customers.
icubed worked with Vedy Build to provide this project to Caesarstone and will continue to support their future ventures.
