Recently, icubed were commissioned by NACAP to deliver the civil and structural design for the EDL Agnew wind farm. The wind farm consists of five Goldwind wind turbines, at 110 m hub height, to generate wind power to the EDL Agnew Hybrid Renewable Power Station which supplies the Agnew Gold Mine near Leinster in WA.
The isolated nature and location of the project meant that a highly-tailored and flexible design solution was required to achieve best-for project outcomes.
Road train deliveries of pavement material has been sourced to appropriately seal the civil access tracks designed by icubed. This white material created a nice contrast with the natural red landscape of the Central WA region.
Congratulations to the icubed team and client, NACAP, who have successfully completed all five 500+ cubic metre turbine foundation footing pours!
